Week 6

Part 1: Help Your Teammates to Develop Capstone Ideas

My team and I meet early in the week after the new modules start, and our focus this week was planning our video project. We have since shared the capstone proposals that each of us have made, and will review them independently, then discuss at next week's meeting.

The proposals I made:

  1. Table top gaming digital format character sheets
  2. Money management/budget tracking system application
  3. A simple video game

My top 3 favorite ideas from my group mates:

  1. Smart Scheduling Assistant [Willis Walters]
  2. Vibe Check (mood tracking app) [Branden Woods]
  3. Connect Four Online (Online game) [Richie Alvarenga]

Part 2: Keep Up With Your Learning Journal

This week felt a bit scattered, mostly because we are in the midst of several different projects, while still trying to move forward with new topics.

We started working on our final presentation projects, creating two videos on the topic Nomophobia, the fear of losing access to ones phone. Our team came up with a plan to collaborate and try to handle the project with equal effort.

Additionally, I am making time this week to finish my Ethics essay as well as getting started on learning about Java online, since I only have C++ experience and our next class (only two weeks away) is entirely based on Java.
